I was in Kazan early this month. Beautiful city and wonderful summer. Reasonable 4 star hotel rate. I stayed at Grand Kazan Hotel. Good and clean hotel. Ideal for business people. In a good location and friendly Tatars. I felt safe just like in Malaysia.

i went to visit a friend, and stayed at the riviera hotel 4star. great view of kazan river, and the kremlin. there is a waterpark connected to the hotel, which is great fun! i also recommend a visit to the rafia monestary out side of the city.there is also a jazz club supper club,` the old piano' wonderful live jazz and atmosphere
