Introduction To Newcastle
Located in the County Down in Northern Ireland the seaside resort of Newcastle (or also known as An Caisleán Nua) has lost some of it’s allure over the years. However due to a recent makeover it has recovered some it’s glitz and glamour. Given on the weekends you can still expect to a few of the rowdier revelers to make themselves heard but the town of Newcastle can be a good base for further exploration of Murlough National Nature Reserve and Mourne Mountains and for a nice stroll along it’s pretty promenade and sea front.
